The Great Pretender

I don't have many photos of me taking photos, for obvious reasons, but here's one none the less - except I'm actually pretending to take a photo for the purposes of a music video! To reclaim my photographic pride I made sure I used an antique Russian camera...

Underling (2008)

Totally submerging my mates is one of my reoccurring hobbies! This photo is taken using the Medium Format 'Mamiya 645', a camera bought from my childhood photography teacher in France!

Antique AnnaLise

AnnaLise, shot using antique Russian camera; this was a bit of a one off as the rest of the shoot was pristine but this way she looks utterly timeless.

One Last Shot

This is the last ever shot taken on the subsequently broken LOMO LCA, dropped in the smash & frey of a French Festival some minutes later...o well, this one came out!

Dreamland... down the road from the pub

I guess it's safe to say If you live in Margate you have to dream, as reality aint that great lets face it. However it was the setting and final resting place for our much loved mate 'Useless' Paul. This was taken down the road from the pub where we conglomerated to collectively drown our sorrows after his funeral.
The day was suitably grey but that didnt stop some more adventurous munters of our crew stripping off for a dip in the sea! Once again & forever big up Useless !

Epitaph. 2008-2009

Since coming to the UK over 10 years ago, Ive constantly cycled in Lambeth, out of necessity but also because weaving and darting through traffic is something of a way of life, under my own steam, ambling home after a night out or charging to work in rush hour.
Im often carrying a heavy bag of camera equipment so Im taking my life and my life's work in my hands on a daily basis!
Ive always pedalled about on total bone shakers, hodge podge mechanisms donated by friends or bought at boot sales until I found my dream racer for half the £500 RRP in a sale last year...the final direct debit had been just days out of the bank when it was snatched by an opportunist thief in Brixton two weeks ago ...I chased him through the streets at full pelt engaging the help of 'white van man' along the way, but he had the luck of the devil and was away to the bowels of hell on my racer. R.I.P. If Id had a can of beans I could have taken him out, but it was not to be ...

Painting...not by numbers
